Adult's Social Worker L&D Team

Tradewind recruitment are currently recruiting for an Adult's Social Worker to work in the L&D team at Enfield Council.

You will use judgement and authority to intervene with individuals, families and communities to promote independence, provide support and prevent harm, neglect and abuse.

The responsibilities of the Social Worker includes:

• A working knowledge of relevant legislation relating to the provision of services for adult services users, including people with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, mental health problems or older people
• Ability to facilitate assessments and record key information which represents user needs and to carry out community care assessments and support planning including co-ordinating multi-disciplinary input
• Ability to demonstrate engagement with people and build, manage, sustain effective and compassionate relationships
• Ability to manage and prioritise own workload and meet agreed deadlines and targets
• To be able to recognise and respond appropriately to unexpected situations and manage uncertainty

Requirements of a Social Worker:

• SWE registered
• 2 years post qualifying experience
• An enhanced DBS that is of satisfactory level is essential
