**Children's Residential Service - Deputy Managers Required**

We are on the lookout for experienced Deputy Managers to work in a professional, warm and friendly children's residential service for children who have complex health needs, mental health, physical and Learning disabilities.

You will be required to work closely with the Registered Manager in all aspects of the day‐to‐day running of the Children's Home.

As well as, promoting a caring environment which provides young people with a high standard of specialised personal care, meeting individual needs and ensuring everyone is treated with respect, dignity and rights to privacy, independence and choices are met. To support the Registered Manager to supervise, monitor and evaluate the care delivered to children & young people, checking legal requirements are required to keep up to date with registration requirements.

Essential Criteria:

  • QCF/ NVQ/ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Children and Young People's Workforce/ Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification (Required)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in children's residential setting.
  • Understanding and knowledge of Safeguarding.
  • Commitment to enhancing knowledge in current legislation around child protection and safeguarding.
  • Detailed knowledge of outcomes‐based practice as referred to in Children's Home Quality regulations 2015.
  • Knowledge of Children's Rights e.g. advocacy and internal complaints procedure.
  • The Children Act, Human rights Act, Care leaving guidance, Ofsted benchmarking.

Job Types: Temporary and Permanent Roles available.

Salary: £25,000 +
