Mental Health Senior Social Worker

Tradewind Social Care are looking for a Qualified Senior social worker to work in a demanding yet rewarding Mental Health team based in London.

Main Duties:

• The candidate is expected to participate in multi disciplinary assessments and to undertake care management, care co-coordinator and service provider functions where appropriate.
• To work fairly and consistently with staff in implementing the council's employment procedures such as recruitment and selection, fair treatment, disciplinary and absence management policies.
• To assist in the production and implementation of the service plan, business plan and unit equality plan.
• To contribute to new service developments and contribute information to the relevant planning and review systems, having particular regard to discrimination against groups.
• The candidate is to ensure the provision of a social work service as agreed in care plans and in accordance with department to promote a quality service for customers.

Job Requirements:

• The candidate is expected to have a enhanced DBS that is of a satisfactory level.
• Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW.
• Ability to deliver good quality assessments of people with mental health needs.
• Ability to organise own workload, to work effectively under pressure and to demonstrate good liaison and good recording skills.
