Digital Infrastructure Project And Comms Administrator - West Berkshire

We have a great opportunity for someone with a working knowledge of Digital Infrastructure and good communication skills to work with West Berkshire. In this role, you will support the Project Office and manage all communications for the pan-Berkshire Digital Infrastructure projects. The role is for a 12 month ongoing project.

Duties

To manage communications with all stakeholders including local parish councils and communities.

To work with all 6 Berkshire Comms Teams to ensure they are kept up to date with projects.

To research, write and publish content to increase the visibility of the work done by the Berkshire DIG and to ensure take up of broadband services from local communities/residents.

To research, write and edit material for the DIG newsletter and to produce and distribute the newsletter.

To write project documentation under the guidance of the DIG Project Manager.

To analyse and check project deployment data provided by our suppliers and to check theses against agreed contract/project schedules.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years previous experience of working in a communications role
  • Ability to relate well and with diplomacy to a wide range of Council staff and communities.
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
