We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager for our new Residential Children's Home in Redditch.
The successful candidate will lead and manage the Ofsted registered children's home consistent with the approach and ethos of our organisation, delivering outcomes and high-quality care as set out in the home's statement of purpose to deliver in a child-centred and child-focused environment.
You must be willing to go above and beyond for the children and young people, ensuring that they have an experience of childhood that they can reflect upon and carry with them into adulthood.
Main responsibilities and duties:
Responsibility for the management of safeguarding children and young people, risk and service governance
Ensure that children and have access to services which meet their health, education, social, psychological, and emotional needs and wellbeing
Monitor outcomes and progress for children in accordance with their care plans Management supervision, reviewing and monitoring standards, and practice development
Reviewing care and service plans to ensure care is being delivered effectively Working with commissioners, local authorities, and health practitioners
Experience and qualifications:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification) Minimum 2 years' experience managing a residential children's home with an established record of achieving a minimum of Good Ofsted gradings Experience in working with children with EBD needs
Experience working with start-up homes and the registration process
