This role is located within a dynamic and fast paced team where no two days are the same.

We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic individual with a team approach and an ability to stay calm under pressure while managing competing priorities and working to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the delivery of regulated Health and Social Care services including the contract management of a portfolio of high risk contracts.

This will be a challenging, dynamic and rewarding role and we are looking for candidates who have the appropriate aptitude and skills to really make a difference to the management of the Councils Children and Adults social care and education contracts, ensuring care quality and high performance service is maintained to our most vulnerable residents.

The successful candidate will be experienced in managing health, social care or education contracts:

  • You will employ assertive yet personable approach to achieving your goals.
  • Will be skilled provider relationship manager.
  • Be able to effectively manage poor performance and provider concerns processes.
  • You will be able to respond with maturity and calm within an environment where there may be competing priorities.

Key duties

  • Contract management for key providers in the care at home market
  • Provider relationship management, negotiation and influencing providers
  • Effective communication & IT skills
  • Undertake contract monitoring visits in line with Covid19 guidelines
  • Write reports to represent the outcomes and outputs of services including articulating your interpretation of the service
  • Ensuring services meet their key performance indicators
  • Improve contract performance where required
  • Ensure service user and carer feedback is paramount to all contract management activity
