Senior Residential Support Worker

Arch Resourcing are looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to work in a therapeutic Children's Residential Home.  

Duties: 
- To provide primary basic care and a nurturing, therapeutic environment to help the child
progress
- Manage the home effectively in the absence of the home manager or deputy manager.
- Effectively lead shifts, direct and support the staff team.
- To mentor and support staff and manage individual and team performance to ensure a standard
of excellent service delivery.
- Ensure the effective monitoring and control of all expenditure accounted for in accordance with
financial procedures.
- To manage health and safety processes in the home including implementation and monitoring
of risk assessments.
- To contribute to the normal development of the children and young people through the provision
of a healthy lifestyle to enable them to reach their fullest potential by providing a variety of
stimulating activities and a consistent and caring adult model.

Hours of Work: 
- 40 hour week
- Shifts will be worked on a basis of 2 days on/4 days off . So you will only be working 2 out of every 6 days,
but paid full time for 40 hours/week. There won't be a need for constant travel throughout the week for many
shifts.
- Sleep in shifts are paid over and above the base salaries shown.

Requirements:
- Experience working in a children's residential. 
- Level 3 qualification in residential childcare or children & young peoples workforce.
